1D LED lanterns at Walmart

I just got back from Walmart and saw they had 3 packs of the 1D 1LED lanterns.
I didn't open the box or look carefully at them as my hands were half full but they looks like a clone of the energizer accent lanterns on the box and sported the 200 hour claim on the side. They looked to have a different hanging system and pehaps no stakes but the price was right..... $9.99 for three.
I do not recall the brand but I found them at the front near the registers with some garden type stuff.

I also spotted some cheap $5.88 plastic case 9LED 3AAA garrity lights, a funky looking 3AAA 3x1.5watt LED flexible light, Energizer POD 4AAA/AA charger set claiming 3 hours for 1 set of 4 and 6 hours for 2 sets (8 cells). There were a few other things but I do not recall as I was in sort of a hurry to get home and eat lunch..... and no I didn't eat the batteries. :lolsign:

DON'T get me started on these again! You KNOW I like these!! They are a GREAT little, long run light for all sorts of purposes around the house/tent etc - ESPECIALLY GREAT for power outages!!! They're absolutely worth the price (well at least the Energizers were).

Stop twisting my arm...(and thanks very much for that last batch!!)

I think I saw at least 4 boxes but if they are selling them at all walmarts they could have 50 boxes each somewhere hidden perhaps thousands.... maybe someone else will buy a box and take a pic as I still have a few boxes left of the energizers stashed for myself :laughing:

Oh, the bosex were I think white/offwhite and have them three in a row inside like the energizers are packed. They have some genericcy sounding name brand on them..... garden fluff sounding but I cannot rememer that.

Seems someone just recently posted something with a pic of these around these halls - but I can't find it. I know they looked like the Energizers with a different name and another member even commented about the "re-branding".

Some time back I reported seeing knock-offs at a Dollar General store for $6/3-pack. Well, they're back, at least at this particular store. Only three boxes, so maybe they're just cleaning up the stockroom. I looked at one closely before and found the plastic thinner/cheaper and the hang ring different than the Energizer Accents. I didn't buy any, but may go back today on the chance they're on clearance now.

Could be the same maker of the ones I saw at Walmart. They looked to have an eyelet type hangring and the box showed no branding on the black plastic base.

Sig-I recall a previous thread of someone buying some *clones* but I believe he got them overseas in another country.... perhaps in the country they are made, I don't recall any more than that.
