but seriously. hmm. construction seems okay. top and bottom threaded nicely, no cross threading. single mode with reverse tail click. it just doesn't have that much output. i would say it's like a l0d on low, so about 8 lumens. that's okay for close work like reading maps. maybe it's good for emergencies. throw in a lithium aa and throw in the glove box.
at $4.72 i don't think it's worth it.
perhaps a 14500 could fit or one of those ultralight 2aa extension tube, giving it more output. not worth the extra expense i'm sure. better off spending more i think.
i shouldve tried to see if the tube could fit my l2d to make it a l1d. gave it away already though.:ironic:
i hope the dx simple cree($9) is better. my guess the dx regulated cree is probably the better buy($13?)
