Looking for something to give to people to keep in cars, something like the old Surefire G2X's with the high vis yellow, was like a firefighter line, or something that takes AA's, I can gift it to them with L91's but if they need to replenish at a gas station they can.

Doesn't need to be to bright for longer runtimes as I'm expecting them to select the brightest setting and leave it not realizing a 1000+ lumen light will get hot and only last 1-2 hours so something 400-600 lumens might be better.

A silver aa minimag with ultimate lithiums. About $25 plus batteries. Available in a gold finish, a red, a green or a blue. Minimag Pro plus have a 351 lumen hi and 70 lumen lo.

Streamlight still sells the high-vis yellow, polymer body lights such as the ProPolymax 4AA. I don't have much of any experience with Streamlight though. I've just browsed some of their stuff out of curiosity.

I would say however that if a light is going to be left in a car all the time, it probably should have lithium batteries in it.

They are only like 140 lumens or something dumb tho

Sooo after going back through all there lights, they do have some that would work https://www.streamlight.com/products/detail/index/4aa-propolymax this was the only pro poly light that didn't have a ridiculously low output.

Then there was these 2, seems like a kinda cool concept.

What about this:

600 lumens is not bad, available in black, tan, green and yellow. For me a great light with 600 and 15 lumens. I am sure there are stores they still have it in stock.
Yeah thats kinda my back up, I just wish they had the high vis firefighter ones like they use to.

I just wrapped hi viz paracord around my 5.11 XBT A6. Wanted something about the size of a maglite 3D that would run off AA L91s but also wanted it to be easy to find. This was perfect. Rides in the door pocket of my truck and has held up perfectly for a couple years now.
