Now may not be a good time to bring this up but do you plan any CPF special editions for 2004 as you've done in the past?

If so, a AA edition HA III in blue would be cool. Or how about an Arc 4+ in blue? THAT would be REALLY cool.

The 2002 CPF special came in HA III blue, and the 2003 special came in HA III red. These were Arc AAA, not AA though.
If there is a 2004 CPF special edition, I'll buy it, regardless of the anodize color, money permitting of course. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

a brighter blue, more metallic and possibly shiny would be nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Right, I missed out on the blue 2002 special edition but I have 2 of the red 2003 AAA's. I thought that with the AA being relatively new, it might make a good subject for a special edition and I like the idea of a blue one.

BugLightGeek,

I can sure identify with your sig line. Do you think they really believe us?

Here's a pic of a knife I got recently. It is polished before the ano process. ProTech calls it "Blue Planet".
This finish would look SWEET on an ARC4....

What I really want is an Arc AAA but with a stand-up tailcap as found on the its bigger cousin. I'll take any color. Anyone else?

I'll second that! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Peter says the anodizing is a touchy process. I wonder if "Blue planet" is easier or harder...

I think a stand up tail-cap AAA would be great, in red even better, but any color except green would be great!

not sure if gold would be possible, but that might be kind of cool...

Gold IS possible, I remember seeing a limited run AAA series with gold bodies and silver heads somewhere... Yes gold would be both cool and stylish.

Of course we could go the other route and have tie-dye anodizing with RGB LEDs... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

rgb splash ano and rgb led.... that would be interesting /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

On the outside???

yes jpeg.

i believe they were aquired during the ebay sales.

various parts were sold over ebay, in various states of completion.
the "gold" part was merely the chemkote, which is done prior to annodization.
the "silver" head was bare aluminum.
