It's been a while since I've done some beamshots.
Here are a few of the new impressive 2008 Inova lights Vs My lovely Milkymods. :D

From Left to Right: Milkyspit KL3 Optimator W/K2T @ 750mA, Inova T1, Milky L1e w/SSC P4 @ 400mA, Inova T2.

Sidenotes
The ML1e has a super shallow reflector and not much of a hotspot.
The KL3 Optimator has more throw and output out all three, but doesn't have a huge gap in output compared to the T2.
Also, remember the Inova T1 is a 2 Cell light.

Really nice beamshots.
Love the T1 form factor, small device but can fit 2 cells.

Based on the brightness from T1 to T2 I guess the T3 will be at least as bright as your Milkyspit KL3 or brighter. My T5, 2 steps above T3, was shipped yesterday and will be here anytime, just can't wait to see how bright it is.

When you T5 arrives, can you see if the low mode output/run time is listed?
I might have to change my order from T2 to T5.
Thanks.

If the Fenix T1 says 60 lumens for 10 hours, I hope it MORE/less matches the output.

Thanks for the nice shots, T2 looks great in both throw and side spill.

Will do.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Thank you, either, both, or anyone.
I looked and didn't see the low output listed on Inova web, or PDF, or even BrightGuy.

If you apply the same ratio Fenix T1 uses 60/225, [isn't the output required for doubling perceived brightness at around squared?] the T5 low output should be 53.3, so if you round down to an even 50 lumens, you could conceivably call that a draw (Isn't there more surface are to the Inova reflector?)

Now if Inova can deliver 50 lumens for 12 hours... (or would 75 for 8 be better for some applications)

Addendum: Inova likes 'even' numbers, so what if the T4 is 175/75 & T5 is 200/50 high/low lumens. Purchasing one T4 saves you from having to purchase one T3 & one T1.
That would be pretty crafty.

I know what you meant :sssh::). Will see who's gonna receive the light first, I ordered in the first hour BOG opened pre-order. But they shipped at the same time Monday because of the gun show over the weekend and we're living in the state of California.

Great beamshots and T1 / T2 comparison! T2 really throws...
Maybe it's been said already somewhere... but does anyone know the current draw of the T2 yet?

No, there's nothing about it. On the box is just 200 lumens runtime as on their website, inside is just a little folded instruction how to use from T1 - T5. Anyone's seen anything different?

Just received my T3 and T5.
The T5's reflector is Huge, I like It.
The T3 feels nice and the tint is the best of all three.

Beamshots later.

Can you answer my question just above your post? Thanks!

Here is my quick review, not really a review just some inputs, about this T5:

- T5 has very wide hot spot and throw very well, color is warm white.

- T5 vs. Taskforce 2C 3W White Cree: TF throws about the same but hot spot is too small compare to T5.

- T5 vs. TF 3W White Cree on 18650: TF outhrows T5.

- T5 vs. 6090 DX drop-in in 6P: hotspot of 6090 is bigger than TF but still the T5 is the best clearly, T5 throws just a little better.

- T5 vs. Malkoff M60 Q5 High Output in 6P: this one is the tough one. I don't want to judge but T5 beats M60??? No I've better waited for someone more experience to compare. M60 is my favor but with this T5 I'm not so sure now.

And again it's not a review, just some eyes inputs in daylight with no tools or camera to test so don't count on it. One thing for sure T5 blends from the middle of the hotspot to the outside spill very, very, very nice to me.

I have some Tenergy LiFePO4 RCR123A but don't know the T5 is gonna handle these batteries or not, anyone knows for sure?

The T5 does throw very, very well. I was expecting alot of flood, but got a pleasant surprise.
Now, My T3 is a BEAST! Has the best tint, and brightness seems to be on par with my T5. The T3s hotspot is wider, but really nice.

So far so good.
