Thanks "DDL" !!

Read that Thread prior to posting!!

Still would like to know if anyone has purchased one and how it performs!!

Can it pop balloons, melt tape, the cool stuff??

On lithium primarys it does everything I could ever ask a pen sized laser to do. Amazing bang for the buck.

Yes, 200mw can do various cool things like burning/popping easy, and some of them, like mine, can even go to split beam mode, therefore, I can point at two objects, simultaneously!:ohgeez:

If You're lucky to get good unit free of those little bug's*, You'll be fine with it. Just be very very careful with it and handle it gently if You want it to perform longer than one month. Keep it in the box while not operating cause lens can get dirty easily and then You can throw it in garbage (cleaning, which is very difficult for approaching, makes things even worse - lens coating ruins easy). Do not even think to put the laser itself in the pocket and carry it around, it just won't last.

Ask Kyle at DX to check it personally before shipping...

*little bug's : beam scatter, only 70-80mw, split beams (TEM01), power fluctations, bad divergence.
