I recently had to clean up after 2 separate devices had leakalines in them. Rayovacs in one and Energizers in the other. I find a leak in a device about once a year on average even though I've been replacing as many of the batteries with lithiums and nimh as I can. I've been investing in l18650 based devices now wherever possible as I don't want to throw money at eneloops that is takes 4-5 of them to equal the power of a single 18650 and cost about twice as much and are more susceptible to reverse charge damage.
