Fenix MC10 static on

Just received a Fenix MC10 and it seems like a very nice light. I store my lights in blow molded cases with pluck foam. After making a place for the new MC10 I noticed that when I would remove it from it's new home the light would come on. Now the first thing I thought was somehow the foam was hitting the switch and then that the light was bad. After trying to make the light turn on outside the container, removing all the other lights from the case, it came down to static charge turning the light on. Somehow the foam causes the light to turn on, does anyone know how this is happening?
