2d LI-IOn D cell 5761

Wanted to know if anyone has ran a mag 5761 with 2 of kaidomens li-ion d cells and results if any.

2 LiIon cells have a good chance of blowing the bulb hot off the charger at 8+ volts.. 5761 generally are run in the 7's for voltage iirc.

I did try this out at one point. I had no problem with bulbs burning out. The 5761 is very high current -- enough to cause the battery voltage to sag from the low 8's to the high 7's under load.
