Looking for a way to do a simple drop in on a 2D mag using eneloops in a Fivemega 6AA > 2D adapter...

Would this work:

2D M@G model # is listed as S2D015 (Krypton Bulb listed)

This Drop-in:
Malkoff Drop-in for 3D-6D Mags... Says it can take upto 9v input which should be okay for using 6 AA Eneloops...

Would I need to go ahead and get a glass lens and metal reflector as well? If I'm going to have to do that I'd probably just go ahead and do a full ROP or the WA1111 bulb I guess...

That would work nicely as a quick drop in, just cut the cam off the stock reflector and use the stock lens. No need for an aluminum reflector. A glas lens would be nice for clarity, but it is not necessary. With that XP-G emitter, the stock reflector will work nicely, or you can also sputter the reflector with clear acrylic paint, but not necessary with such a small LED.
