Hi folks, here is another creation from Fivemega.
I have made very limited quantity of these and there will not be more. So it's your choice to grab one or regret for ever.
A completely modified M*g D body with custom made D26 (P60 style) head, completly semi gloss (almost matte) hard anodized.
Body is shortened and dual bored with integrated battery holder to accept 2 18650 in parallel for total of 4.2 volt. No serial version available but for 8.4 volt application, possible to use 4 IMR 18350 (all cells are positive in/negative to tail side)
Head is custom made from one piece solid aluminum to accept any P60 stlye lamp/LED module with diameter of about 45mm.
There is no bezel to cover head. module is directly seated into cave metal which is outside finned for maxim heat dissipating. There is no threads (gap) to interrupt heat transfering.
There is one small stainless steel ring to hold lamp module and one bigger stainless steel ring to hold UCL lens and of course high quality UCL lens from flashlightlens is included.
There is one o'ring under lens, one o'ring on head and one o'ring on tail cap same as M*g
You can use your own D26 incand or LED and enjoy super long run per charge.
I highly recommend to use 2 high quality protected 18650 with same age and same capacity.
Since both batteries are connected in parallel, load on each cell is half of total load so less stress to each cell, longer battery life, less voltage drop, higher performance and longer run time per charge. Pair of protected 3400mAh cells will run the 3 Amp module for way more than two hours.
Total length is about 7" and head diameter is 1.75"
What you will receive is complete host including body, switch, battery holder, tail cap, head, 2 SS bezels, UCL lens and all required o'rings. No battery and No module included or offered.
