Well I have been bitten by the Surefire bug. I have a couple now and am wanting to put together another one. This one will house 2 of my AW 18650-26 cells and power my Malkoff M60WF. From what I have read I need to be aware of what tailswitch to use due to the power of 2 big cells like this. Can anyone let me know of a good tailswitch that will work for this application? Any to avoid? I prefer a clicky and not a twisty.

The problem is not necessarily the batteries, but the current drawn by the drop-in.

LEDs do not usually cause problems unless the new SST-50 and the SST-90. IMO you can use Clickie Tailcaps quietly with your Malkoff.

Ah, that makes sense. I figured I would error on the side of caution and ask. I don't really want to fry new parts.

Yep! The M60W should draw not more than 1amp on these cells. Therefore, I can't see it can bring some damage to your tailcap. The clicky is concern, whenever the draw is more than 2amps and continuous use!

But wait for a further explanation of the member more experienced on this.
