3 x 18650 c to c itch

Help Support Candle Power:

Rated at 9v maximum so i wouldn't risk it. Even if by chance it didn't immediately fry, it probably won't last very long and would run inefficiently.

There are plenty of other p60 style led dropins that would run on that voltage within spec e.g. lumensfactory d26 (3.6-13v).

hmm.. 3.7v X 3 = 11.1v

M60 The input voltage is 3.8 - 9 volts

so you'll most likely ruin the Malkoff M60 == Not sure if it will just blow it or drastically reduce the life of it ...

As monkeyboy stated three cells is too much but you can still use the 3 cell body with 2 18650s and a dummy cell or spacer.

Actually that would be 3 x 4.2v = 12.6v because fully charged Li-ions are 4.2 volts. 3.7v is the resting voltage and they are almost dead at that voltage.
