You need to shop for the CRV-3 in Duracell -Do NOT get an Eveready, because you will only get two 1.5V cells.

Disassembly of the two-pack Duracell CRV-3 will yield two high current 3.25V (open circuit) AA cells. Probably will cost you about $8. US for that two pack. It's really a power pack for digital cameras.

Re: 3v AA batteries

I see them on ebay from time to time in varrying quantities. They often come with pig tails, but not always and cost from about $2-5 each depending on the size of the lot. Do a search for lithium aa and a few will probably turn up. From there you can find some better search terms that exclude the Energizer 1.5 ones.

I think I saw some at Ratshack, but they were about $7 each.

What do you want them for?
I have been tempted to buy a huge lot of them and make a headlamp with a 3 aa holder with a 5 watt LS. Oh, well, when I am rich.
