Bhds, not sure what you're meaning. What I'm looking for is someone who can find one of these things at a sensible price (unlike that site), and is willing to ship it over here (I will pay for that as well, obviously). As thus far I've not managed to find any suppliers to the UK or US suppliers who ship here at all, or at sensible prices.

No. 35 on Z's list of reviews...I THINK that's the one some folks have been saying is on clearance at some Targets for 3/$10...runs on 1 D cell (if it's the one I'm thinking of).

Do I have it right? Is that light (No. 35) the one I've seen mentioned in other threads as the sale light?

Yep. They're a really good deal for 3/10. Get them if you can. They run a long time (150+hrs)on a D cell. Good for placing in hallways and such during a blackout, too.

I have never seen those 1D lights at target I guess they never got any here. One of our targets never carried any dorcy products at all either, the other one is on the other side of town so I rarely go there. I have looked for the 4D 2x4W lanterns around here to, too expensive when I find them cheapest I found them was 12.99 at walmart and they don't have them any more so they are 14.99 at Lowes. rather just pay for a 9W flourescent 4D lantern at 9.99 instead.

Okay...starting (NOW) I'm going to be having a Mega-Energizer-Review evening. Given I've got multiple requests now, no excuses! First will be the 4D Fluorescent, then the 2LED one, then the Accent light, will hopefully get the 4D one up tonight. Maybe the LED one too, will let you know once it's done.

Right, 4D Energizer lantern review is now ONLINE. Needs polishing, and I know the page with the packaging details isn't up yet, I'll do that tomorrow. Right now, it's 3AM, And I need to get to bed! Hope the review's useful.

Have you guys seen the new version of this lantern? Now it has an LED nightlight, and guess what? They put a mirror on it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

They need to start putting LEDs in all lanterns as night lights/backup lights for cold weather. The only place I have seen the 4D folding ones wants almost $15 for it. For that price I can get a full fledged 9watt lantern and a dorcy AAA as a nightlight.
