Re: What\'s up with unpronouncable handles?

Perhaps they're flashaholic "shibboleths" /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Shibboleth: (without infringing on Webster.com's copyright)
A particular word used, and often was used during WWI & WWII for example, to identify a native speaker of a language or member of a sect, etc.

Re: What\'s up with unpronouncable handles?

Mine is actually a misspelling of Bhindi bhaji so that it is more pronouncable. It's really a potato curry, but it was used as the name of a (non-existent) character on Red Dwarf.

Re: What\'s up with unpronouncable handles?

Why bother giving Abe's handle any attention if it offends? Shouldn't those who run the CPF filter out any vulgarity if they feel it's excessive? Abe's "obscenity" is more juvenile than anything else. I should know, as I tend toward the younger sentiments on extremely, most exceedingly, rare, occasions. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif

Re: What\'s up with unpronouncable handles?

Abe's name is genuine. It's the remarks about it that are obscene. Edit it, or I will.
