I just saw an ad for5 a 6 led flashlight at www.sportsmansguide.com
They say it uses 3 AA batteries. Has anyone else seen this kind of light before? Not sure if it would be worth getting.
To find it, go to the above site, and then do a keyword search for led flashlight. Have it show all 7 entries. They also advertise a LED-LITE 4 bulb light for $24.97 or an 8 bulb LED-LITE 8 bulb flashlight for $39.99
I have gotten coats from this site before, but not flashlights. Just was wondering if this is a good deal or not.

I picked one up at Garts Sport quite some time ago. It isn't very bright, and doesn't feel as if it has much quality. I stuck it with my lights that I figure I'll never use. A few years ago I may have been impressed.

I have that light (if the one you're taliking about has a rubber bulge in the middle of the grip). It is almost as bright as a Brinkmann Longlife.. I got mine at a flea market for $5 and I darn sure wouldn't have wanted to pay a penny more.

I'd recommend caution when buying from the Sportsmans's Guide.

Every now an then they have a fair deal on something, but most often they are mis-representing products using big "adjectives" and "best one made" claims..

For example, I once bought some "brand new" .308 ammo from them. As it turns out, it must have been very corroded because they ran it through a tumbler. This causes the powder to break down into smaller particles and cause very dangerous chamber pressures. It nearly ruined my rifle. I wrote them about their bogus claims, but as you might guess they never replied. They still even send me their catalogs like maybe I'm stupid enought to let them rip me off again.
