Just got some new Surefire toys

I have also aquired the ni-cad Surefire recharge kit and extender tube for another 6P i had kicking around. Now if i can only use it with the standard 6P head and the turbo head well so be it. But as the situations demands i sometimes shove the KL5 head from my L5 onto my 6P when in standard trim.
If i am using the ni-cad recharge kit, can i still use the KL5 head? Will it damage either the battery or the head? I like the idea of guilt free light on numerous light types and levels!
Personally i don't think it will but i thought i would be an idea to run it past the experts on here first.
