6p replacement head

went to the swap meet yesterday (the same one i got my $15 m6 from), and bought myself a mildly used 6p for 25 cents. the only thing is its missing its head. im fine with not having the lens or reflector for it because i want to use a cree drop-in in it and i have a glass lens that will fit, but i need a replacement head. i know i could just order a new from surefire but i'm cheap. can anyone tell me what other 6p compatible heads are out there and where to possibly get one.

$15.25 for am M6 and a headless 6P? Watch out when crossing streets man...

You could try calling SureFire and telling them you have a 6P with a broken head. They'll probably replace it.

Just put a post up in the WTB section. Z44s are pretty common I should think, someone will probably sell you one pretty quickly.

Boy oh boy! Now I know who to trust and not to trust around here. Telling someone to deceive a company just to get something for free, is not only dishonest, but unethical. It is practices like that, that raise the prices for those of us who actually pay for goods.

Ethical question: Let's say the OP, in his desire to keep it real, calls Surefire and asks to *buy* a replacement head since his is missing (i.e. full disclosure). Suppose that Surefire then offers to replace the head at no charge. Should he take them up on it?

No, since he didn't have one in the first place. Although it's missing, it's misleading at best.
