I've been thinning the accumulation and little by little they go. This particular knife, each time I say, "it's going" I keep it. This was made in the 70's at a time when fit-finish was a whole different ball park. This piece shows excellent execution overall and even by today's standards is a top shelf knife among handmades. Even symmetrical grinds, super thin tapered tang, well fitted nickel bolsters and the pins in the stag are tight. (You won't believe how many times I see sloppy pin holes with epoxy to fill the gap. :( )

I wish I could have meet this maker. This knife has been a benchmark fixed blade and because of that, it will remain with me.
