im ready to start expanding my aleph system

1) what kind of regulated runtime can expect from a single unprotected li-on 123 on a TYOH driven by a SDC1000?

2) i am aware the the switch in the flat-top McE2s is different from the standard one, but are the resistors still interchangable?

3) any difference in water proofness between the standard and flat top tailcap?

4) i notice at very close ranges, the donut hole is visible in the beam, is this normal?

5) any possibility of having a tritium vial on the flared 2x123 bodies:D /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

thanks in advanced!!

1) look at Don's site, he has some runtime graphs, but I dunno about your special configuration

2) yes they are

3) not that I am aware off ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

4) yes, it's normal and it is the case with all reflector based lights

5) I'll leave this to the master ... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Don did do a runtime using a SDC. He got around 1:40 running a TWOH. I'm assuming that it was a SDC1000 based on the runtime and output.

As for the tritium vials, those are subject to availability and are, as of now, a "Don" exclusive. I know I'm not messing with them. I have a hard enough time sourcing luxeons without adding tritium vials to the mix.

yep 1:40 is pretty impressive.

but what i really am interested in is having a single cell sized light that kicks out the same amount of light! that would really be unbelieveable! so just wondering what kind of runtimes i would get.

oh and i forgot, any news on a clip?
