Hi guys, im looking for a good CR123 battery case/carrier.

The cut foam insert lighthound sells for the pelican case is what im using now, but i think it could fit a few more CR123 cells in there cos of the wasted space between them.

The surefire case is an odd shape and isnt really comfortable to carry on myself.

Has anyone got a recommendation one which packs the cells closely together and has a nice form factor?

Thanks in advance :)

6 would be good, but 4 is ok too.
i want it to be small so that it can be carrier in a pants/shirt pocket.

I see the soft nylon case on lighthound which carriers 4 cells, its closest one i could find so far for what i want.

Also this one on ebay looks nice n pocketable, but wasted space there im sure more could fit it in vertical arrangement instead.

just wondering if there are anything else like that.

Ralls beat me to it. BugOutGearUSA has them in black and provide discounts to CPF'ers (check link in my sigline). The cases fit 4 cells (and can take CR2's, AA, etc.). The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that they're not watertight.

the batuca one is really nice :) i think ill be getting a few of those, its nice they work with AA cells too. thanks for the info guys!

7dayshop has great prices! but they dont seem to ship int'l... or do they?

Thanks greenLED. I originally saw these cases @ Bugout and was interested in purchasing. I emailed him and was told they no longer had them in stock.

This is the CR123A version of the the Delkin 8AA case, so I know I won't be disappointed.

I have got a few of the Batuca cases, and found 4 x RCR123A can be very tight - primaries are OK though. The Batucas also claim to fit 6AAAs but they are not snug and rattle about.

I also have the 7dayshop case - but it is a bit too heavy to carry in a pocket - 75g - approx 180g with 6 CR123a vs Batuca 13.5g - 78g with 4 x CR123A.

Illum, the OP already said:

Coppertail, that's a real shame that they don't have them any more. Try the inanycase.com link given by Ralls - they're the same BATUCA battery carriers that BugOutGearUSA had, only in "lively" colors.
