I am into photography and was wondering if anyone on here has a suggestion for a pocketable led light that would look good for photography in low light. I would assume a floody smooth beam would be good.

That is the second time I have heard that, thanks I am going to look into it although I fear it is expensive seeing that it is a McGizmo. Any cheaper alternatives with similar output?

You can also look at one of the Zebralights. They provide a nice even flood. The good thing about them is you can tail stand it and the light is directed sideways or you can use the headband for hands free work.

Depending on how far your subject is, and how steady you need the camera, try this trick. Take any relatively bright light, face it bezel toward your palm, and hold with your fingers. This should give you a very natural bounced smooth light. Think like if you stuck a light in spock's hand. This has worked whenever I needed a mellow light. It's basically a human light bounce.
