Hello everyone,
I would just like to share my recent purchases and would like to hear from yours and maybe a little story or explanation about your purchase, why when where how much etc.
I bought a new RA Twisty 140 EDC (CR123 battery tube) from the UK store ledfiretorches.co.uk about 30 days ago after realizing I dont have many decent torches left, (I sold a few), My spure on the purchase was the fact I had money in my paypal account and that these will be getting harder to get a hold of new, also I wanted to try out the P4 wider option after selling my Clicky 140 Narrow beam. I like the twisty a lot for my edc around the house light, mainly because it tailstands also because it has a nice floody beam. £130
My next purchase was the another RA this time the High Cri Clicky fomr the same supplier (I emailed asking them if they would get stock of the High Cri range, they said I would be the first to know, I got an email and bought it asap, a few days later they were sold out) I got in the mail 2 days later, very pleased with this supplier. First click fo the High Cri I was like eew brown, then I looked at it again and noticed how well it rendered colours, it was amazing, definetly a keeper, 100 lumens is enough to walk around woods at night with. £130
Onto my next purchase, yes another RA this time the 170T with the black bezel, I didnt really have enough money for this but I had to have one to compliment my High Cri. (at this point I had sent my Twisty into techno Cowboy to get a warm tint XP-G) This one is super bright with a very different beam and tint, very daylight looking, like 6500K but with a yellow ring around the hotspot smoothing out to a purplish flood, I usually hate blue and purple in lights but this is cool. It outthrows my ET T100C2 MKII and out floods it. £150
So enough HDS fanboy saluting, my attention got attracted to the Marketplace where I snapped up a Malkolf M60W, I have owned a 6P since I got into this terrible hobby but never really used it because the beam went dull within a half hour, so this will bring it back to life with some extra lumens to spare. should get here tommorrow.
My next purchase was actually 20 CR123 cells of ebay, cost me around £18 delivered, Panasonic Made In Japan with the white label, I have used these before and noted they were really good cells.
Onto my next but with a M60 LF off the market place, I wanted to try it out and it was cheap enough for me to catch, still waiting on it too.
Then I bought an Arc Mania Extreme III for only $42, I have always wanted to try one of these out and it would suit some discreet edc situations, Not yet arrived from Canada.
I then picked up a Z59 Clicky tailcap for my Surefire 6P, another reason I didnt use this one was because you had to twist the tail.
And I ordered a Flush tailcap from oveready for my RA Clicky 170T, I prefer the flush button. Yes another $28 deliverd.
And Just now I have nabbed a Like new Surefire C2-HA with all accesories amd P61 over at the MP, this is going to be the future host for my M60W. $90 to my door, which I think is a great deal.
So I hope this was insightfull for some members and its always nice to have a read into someone elses flashaholic nightmares.
Please feel free to shame, comment boast, envy, have fun we only live once. :nana:;)
