SWEET!! I love the look of your work. And your "keep it simple" for the non-flashaholic is perfect. Who knows, your friend may "catch the bug" once he has that beauty in-hand.

Looking at your tailcap mod makes me think that a similar press-fit insert for a C tailcap would be fairly easy. I do have the use of a lathe but no experience w/ threading.....

Thanks to all who have chimed in here and to those who have PM'ed asking about buying lights and hosts. My schedule at work has gone crazy this week and I don't expect to be able to focus on the hobby for a few days. But I'll be back in touch!
