So I have just bought a SS Logan Key QTC. I also purchased a Moddoo SS clip for this light. Instead of having the screw in key lug why not produce a simple plug with a flat end and a milled grove to attach to the end or our El Cap's and Logan's? It's a simple attachment that would hold the clip on great and allow the light to tailstand. Anyone else want one?

This is a VERY interesting idea. How would the milled groove be configured?

Picture a flathead screw, simple. The milled grove is there so you can tighten it down with a flathead driver or other driver tool. The OD could be the same as the key or MOM switch, maybe a little bigger for added stability while tailstanding. Pretty simple attachment that is completely functional when used with the Moddoo clip considering that with a QTC light all the mode switching you need is right at the twist of the head. Anyone preferring a MOM can buy the switch.

I admit the simplicity and functionality of the QTC in these lights is brilliant. The ability to add the Moddoo clip for EDC is priceless add to that the ability to tailstand and you have the making of a bombproof and iconic EDC light that every flashaholic should take notice of IMO!

I've been thinking about doing the same thing.... something like a flat, knurled thumbscrew.

Give me a few days, maybe I can come up with something.

We have had those as a stock item for years in
Brass and SS. We currently have 2 in SS and
13 in Brass on the shelf at $5.00 each. The lip
thickness is about 0.05 inches with a screw driver
slot. Same diameter as the the key ring adapter.

The spring clip from Overready could be held in place
with a slightly modified momentary switch.

This partially answers a question I had here. The reason for the query: I will either make (or have someone make) a clip for the Eiger w/momentary.

I hope a clip for the Eiger will be made. Because the one from Oveready does not work with the Eiger.
