Hi all,
I need a decent worklight to use now the winters drawing in, but instead of the flashlight style that seem to be prominent on here i need something like this http://image.made-in-china.com/2f0j0...h-SL-3050-.jpg
I've looked around in the uk, but there doesn't seem to be anything that offers a good brightness vs run time at a fair price, so i think a self build is my only option. Although this light needs to be portable, weight and battery size are not a concern, as it would be removed from my van and then set down to work. i'd like to be able to flood an area with light for a few hours, hence the LED route instead of halogen or hid. I am electrically biased and can work a soldering iron with ease, but i don't know the first thing about the various LED's out there, so can anyone advise me on a suitable LED/battery/anything else combination that i could start with?
I need this for truck maintenance in area's where i cannot get my van or external power too.
