A123 18650s a bit stinky. Okay?

Ever since I took them out of a BD battery pack they have had a whiff of bitter electronics smell to them that hasn't left. I charged one up today and it got a bit stinkier but not overpoweringly so. Took it off at 3.67v.

Should I be concerned about the smell? I know Lions fumes aint good but this is not huge and they seem okay otherwise. Any recommendations? Keep or chuck out?

Keep. You will know if they are faulty, and that's speaking as someone who smokes 30 a day and worked in an industrial chemical lab, i.e., I have little or no sense of smell.

If it gets stronger while charging or makes hissing noises, lose it immediately.
