A19 CREE(1x123) two-stage 5ohm runtime in low

I just moded the tail cap of my A19 and was wondering if anyone had an idea of the runtime on low with a RCR123a and a CR123a?

I'm shocked at how much light it puts out at 5ohm's and guess that's why i'm courious...

Mine put out very little light at 5ohms, I am at 1.5ohms now and happy.

I just tested mine and low is the same as the lowest setting on a U2..

I have no U2, but with the 5ohm I would guesstimate 10-15% and with the 1.5 ohm 40-50% of full brightness.

When you add the mc2es switch to your A19-XRE, does the light then function like Surefire's A2? In other words, do you now have the ability to push lightly for momentary low, or more for momentary high, and also to twist for constant low/constant high?

If so, I definitely need to mod my A19-XRE this way.

I dont know if you have the 1.5 body, but you should get that too. Gives you longer runtime. A19's are my favorite light as of now!

The 1.5 tube works with a 17500 cell.

They're only available in black, but they are on sale:

It's a mid-length tube that has a nice proportion to Aleph heads. Not to small, not too long, it's it a nice pocketable EDC size.

Thats right! I didnt know they only have it on black; I have both Bodies and the 1.5 black body doesnt look bad at all even if you have the HA A19 head. IMO, I like that contrast in color. I thought the 1.5 body is long. but its just perfect for edc with great runtime on the 17500 cell.
