I am wondering it is ok to use r123 rechargebles on the SF A2?

I think there have been a few A2's sacrificed on this experiment. To my knowledge, the voltage from two rechargable 123a batteries is too much voltage for the A2's circuitry. I believe it will work if you use only one rechargable and a dummy cell, but at significantly less run time. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon23.gif

Surefire told that we can use r123a to A2. The ciucuit will work with xenon bulb very well. But we have to change resistor which series to Led. The led are direct drive from 2xr123a which is very high voltage and might shorten their life.

Don't run bare R123 li-ion in a series

if you insist on doing this use JSB's 3V R123 protected cells and yank cells at first sign of dimming
