Hey everyone,
Don't know if this link has been posted to the forum before, but I found it
while researching whether to buy Powerex 2700 or the Eneloop AA batteries
for my new Nikon camera, a couple of flashlights and other electronics.
I went ahead and bought the Maha MH-C9000 and 12 AA and 8 AAA from
NewEgg. They have a deal right now on the 9000 with four of the Powerex 2700 batteries and free shipping for $59.99. Not a bad price.

and the last test
2 years later after 30-50 cycles, charge up the batteries and then leave them in the camera bag a couple of week.
Enloop - 400pops
high-cap wizz bang - 40pops

i am just saying  i followed test like these for 25 years or more, and after TIME and many cycles the "BEST" sucked.

The trouble is that most people don't have 2 years. In this case it was about a single month. Too bad.

All my Energizers are long gone. I still have a couple of LaCrosse ones in my junk pile.

The proper test would include the totals over the lifetime. Pops/lifetime, recharge time after 250/500/750/1000 cycles, etc.
However it is a significant amount of work, only possible using some sort of automated setup.

and that guy put a significant ammount of work into that, i still really do appretiate when people do thier testing, and display thier results, and define thier parmeters. GEMS they are, a truely valuable community service.

the batteries :) well they still suck
