The circuit at this link is like the SatCure circuit. It has some spec. numbers for the components. It needs manufacturer cross reference numbers.

Does anyone have any experience making a "AA" size electronic drop-in cell to convert a 2AA flashlight to a 1 AA white led light? The link talks about using a high efficiency strobe transistor.

How many leds can be run off such a circuit?

What kind of brightness can be expected?
