OK, this is sort of a question for Peter, but it's also to get an opinion from the group.

What are your thoughts on a new style AAA with a tail switch similar to the TSP on the LS?

If not a TSP, then maybe some other way than to twist the head? I just got a Welch-Allyn halogen penlight. It has a switch that you have to slip/push out/away from the light body to turn the light on (I will have to provide a pic). That would be something to think about as well.

Who knows, maybe you're already working on something? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/naughty.gif

Re: AAA clickie?

i've though about putting a clicky from a pen in my aaa, but i don't have the tools or daring /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Nobody but Rothandir and I have any interest in this?

I'm contemplating taking a AAA Std. and giving it a shot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/poke2.gif

Actually I would love some kind of non-protruding (tail) switch. Something like a miniature slider switch would do the trick.

Cheers.

I've got a few AAA incandescent flashlights that I am cutting down to fit the Arc-AAA heads. They have a clickie tailswitch, and are already anodized. Email me if you are interested in this mod.

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Doug,

You're killing me here! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Two of those are in my order from you and I'm as anxious to see those as I am in seeing your other creations. Seems like a clickie is the only thing that the Arc AAA needs. Other than an optional C-cell body. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon15.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sorry to tease you that way, Steve... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I haven't received the package back with your C-cell holder yet, but I am hoping it will be in this week. In the meantime, I'll make sure your little clickie bodies are ready to go... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
