hi there

Just want to share my latest DIY.

Mind you, this is not your typical 5mm/mid-power LED T8 tube. This is market's first T8 tube based on high-power LEDs.
Type: 2ft T8 LED tube
LEDs: 6 x Philips Lumileds Luxeon Rebel LED - Royal Blue 440nm (275mW)
Drive current: 350mA remote constant current driver (100V - 240V mains)
Themal: >70% of tube surface volume dedicated for anodized finned aluminium for heat dissipitation.
Optical: 30deg beam angle minature reflector
Application:
This LED tube can be used as a retrofit into existing T8 lampholder/housing (user simply have to re-wire for constant-current driver)
The positive/negative polarities are on the same side ends (no need to run unsightly cable along the tube!)
Target tank depth ( max 2ft height)
