Is there an advantage to one over the other.

Same type of steel in both blades, though blade design is different.

I need to be able to carry in suit type pants without a noticeable bulge, the 940 series seems to work, but how about the RSK?

Is there a significant weight difference?

Bill

Same type of steel in RSK and Benchmade's 940 series? I know there were some special edition versions of the 940 series in S30V; but, I thought 940 series standard steel is 154 CM where RSK uses S30V. I've not kept current with Benchmade, perhaps they have gone to S30V on these models as the standard steel. Personally, I would be happy with either steel. Although most, I think, would consider S30V a step up from 154 CM.

The 940 family is very classy and a good suit carry . The action is very smooth . S30V is a small step up from i54Cm , in all honesty both are very good , in normal use you wouldn't tell the diff.

The RSK is based on the Griptillian 550 with a S30V thumb-studded blade, which is VERY hand-filling, definately will bulge - bigtime!!!

The Mini RSK should work if u prefer.

But I would choose the 940 in green because it looks sheeple friendly.
