Will these work in a Malkoff MD head?.

I want to say yes because MD heads take malkoff dropins but my dropins are a not more Surefire focused so I cannot guarantee a Malkoff MD fit. Only way to know for sure is if someone reading this has one of my original dropins and an MD look light.

I'm definitely in for one. I can build them myself, but I'm happy not being a "me too" Moder in this case.

Since the spring will not be supplied, is the spring common to other Surefire 3rd party dropin?

Yes, it takes the same springs you get with the cheapr X/K P60 drop-in kits.

Yes but the spring in your pic of the two shells looks silver and higher quality. Where did you get that one?

That must just be the lighting or my crappy phone camera (probably both). It's definitely gold and from the cheap P60 kits sorry!
