Is there another lamp with higher output available for the E2E? Surefire or aftermarket, I care not. I would sure like something like the P61.
Thanks
Jeff

Will it fit in the E2E? I don't see it listed on Surefire's site as a viable alternative.

The P60/P61 do not fit in the E2e's bezel.

If you want brighter than the E2e from the E2e body then you'll need a larger bezel I guess. There are aftermarket adapters to attach a "standard" sized bezel to the E2e body. SureFire is bound to have something like that for the ScoutLight (which would also work on the E2e). I would assume that any such SureFire part would match better on an E2d (Black HA) body though.

Various searches for the bezel adapters Al talks about are turning up lot's of links talking about them but none telling me where to actually buy one. Does anyone know of a source?
Thanks,
Jeff

An E2C adapter [#6] allows you to use SF P-/C-series bezel [#2/2a](Head) and their lamps [#5].

PM CPFer DSpeck for E2C adapter,
or jjciv for a similar-purpose adapter.

KLM, I *think* it was McGizmo that originally came up with that mod, and I *think* This_is_Nascar made a bunch available. I also *think* it was over a year ago. Might help with the search.

I would love to do that mod. Please post back if you find any information on it.

The E2C adapter does work well with the p60 or p61 lamp, but it does get HOT!! I believe this is the link, click here

I like the E2C adapter the best, just screw it on to the E2e body and attach a C or M series Surefire bezel and your choice of lamp (P60 or 61). Keeps the light more "modular".
