I have been reading your forum for several weeks on and off. I ahve decided that an Arc 4 or a Surefire 5W flashlight might be the ting for me. I read the thread about all the folks who had Arc 4s on the way..even talk about tracking numbers and such. Now I really dont want to come off as a neophyte but can anyone tell me the source for people who actually want to buy these flashlights ?? I mean is there an unwritten rule to not list the source of the ARC 4 or the Surefires ?????

Welcome to CPF.

You now have some links to ARC. Peter Gransee is the owner of ARC. In the ARC forum he lists the link to his place at the bottom of his posts.

SureFire products can be obtained from several of the stores listed in the banners that occur at the top of the page. You can go to the banners section of CPF to see which stores are supporting CPF.

You can also buy direct from www.surefire.com. SureFire lights are also available at local gun and knife shops.

So, which one are you going to go for? And why? Arc and SureFire both make great lights. This may be a hard choice. Of course a true Flashaholic would buy both...

You sure are on the right track Dwight. Geez, you're a quick study and your first two choices are better than anything I've got.
