Amilite T5 issues

Hello All,

I'm looking to add an Amilite T5 to my collection and use it as my primary EDC. I want to use rechargeable batteries with the T5, in particular AW's battery. I read that the T5 has issues with rechargeable batteries does anybody know if AW batteries fall into this category too? Are there any rechargeable betteries the T5 works well with?

If you are going to use RCRs, 3V batteries are always the safest. Still, I'm not sure how well they will work in the T5.
