Took this anglehead and did a few upgrades.

Made a lens cover out of an old scope cap with rubber hold down and velcro

First was 4C bats, extended the bottom by using some of the front bezel parts, 3 of them.

Next put in a P60 cree R2 dropin from DX sku 17593 variable brightness from real low to I estimate 160 lumen ?

I had to make a holder for the P60 module so found some PVC that the reflector fit into nice and snug. Then got another piece that fit around that and glued them together. A bit of electrical tape to snug it in the head.

had to make some cuts for the area at the bottom of head for positive contact and the neg contact. Cut the spring off a bit and soldered on a
piece of copper for bigger contact area on module.

the angle head is great for this mod as it has an area that goes all the way around for the adapter to sit on. I had to add a bit more inside to get the height right.

This all started as a prototype and the plan was to make a aluminum adapter/heat sink. But this worked so well...... a little bend to the neg contact and a cut out for it

It really lights up a room

did some readings on heat and ran it for ten minutes on high, reached 140F but I really don't intend to run it that long on high. It took a good while to get to that temp. This module runs fairly cool. I like the variable option which uses PWM. For something around $10 how can you go wrong? You like my paint job ??
