Another lasers at planes story - CNN 02/24/09

More stupidity at SeaTac airport, no arrests, but just making our lives harder. Saw a couple nice lasers at SHOT at the CPF party, obviously very careful not to peg any planes coming out of MCO.

I've heard of this new technology that is trying to make its way into the hands of SWAT teams. Its a very bright strobing light that blinks at a certain rate and at a certain green wavelength that can be used to disorient and confuse the target. Perhaps they should use this when going after the people pointing lasers at planes. get a dose of their own medicine.
