I'm looking to get a light for EDC. I was hoping to get some help. I've read the "runtimes" thread for single CR123 lights and searched at comparing lights. I need a light to carry around everywhere to read maps, work in attics, use in car, read, and use in conjunction with my pistol for night shooting.

Here are my requirements.

Must haves----
Single cell light
At least two outputs (1 Max-High with low not greater than ~10 lumen)

Heavily weighted------
Reliable
Good warranty
Pocket clip
Waterproof
CR123 powered (though I'd consider others if I'm convinced)
decent run times
Bright high mode (enough to block someones vision at night)

Medium weighted--------
Made in USA
Lifetime warrenty
I like clickys ( I know that these aren't as reliable but I like clicky caps)
Company that is going to be around for a long time becasue I plan on having this light and using it for a long time
Simple to use (I don't want to be scrolling through settings in a panic)

Price limit is 120$.

I'm not much of a flashaholic. I only have a 6P defender with a M60L, 6P with some other LED drop in, an Akoray AA, and a Romisen N3.

Lights I've seen that might fit this bill are
Surefire E1B
Fenix PD20/PD10
NiteCore
But I have no Idea really.

The only viable option out of your choices is the surefire, due to the fact that none of the others are made in the USA or have a life time warranty.

If there is a Better light made elsewhere I'm game.

I prefer USA made if two lights are almost equal in features.

ETA: Nice beam-shots in your signature.

I would personally recommend the E1b, however some people may say that my opinion is slightly biased.

Thank you, regarding my beamshots :)

I just recently bought the E1B Backup and I love this little light. Its built like a tank just like my other two surefires!! I like how it is "melted" and without the crenelated bezel like my E2DL as it doesn't tear up my pocket. I thought the two way pocket cliop was a lil gimmicky at first but it is a nice feature. The only thing I would change is low first then high. I mostly use mine for walking around the house at night or lighting some dark parts in the street when I walk. I haven't had to use it yet but according to these forums Surefires warranty service is top notch!! So I say go for the E1B

I second or third the e1b as well. It matches what you're looking for but as stated above I may be a little biased as well. :D

Dont forget the Novatac 120

The original ones where made in the US

I third the RA clicky. It meets all of your requirements. Excellent quality and according to their website the EDC Executive is $99.
