Just got back from my nightly dog walk, 45 minutes since the weather was nice enough here in suburban/rural New York state. I generally have this particular E2e on my bookshelf next to my bed loaded with a LF HO-E1R and a 17670. It was getting dusty so out it came tonight. I brought my Haiku for backup but used the E2e for the entire walk, which just solidified again in my mind how great this light is. Slim but great grippy knurling. Long enough to tuck under your arm if needed but not too long for EDC pocket carry. Light enough to mouth hold if needed. Ample runtime with great color temperature in this configuration. And the beam... Wonderful spill that's blessedly even from the very edge of the beam right up to the hotspot which reaches right out there 50-60 yards which is plenty for me for this size light. I love my LED lights. I love my titanium customs. BUT- the E2e will never be missing from my collection. It's just the perfect balance, the pinnacle of 2-cell Incan lights for me. I'm ordering some more lamp assemblies from Lumens Factory tomorrow, and perhaps some MN02's. Long live the E2e!!!

I still use an E2 with a LF HO-E1R and a 17670 on occasion. I love the thinness of the body and the incandescent beam. It still throws well and has a great beam profile.

Did you run the light for 45 minutes on continuously? It gets warm after a few minutes!

The E2e is my all time favorite flashlight, though I prefer the Surefire 6 volt and LF 9 volt lamps over the 3.7V one you mentioned.

The 3.7V lamp is not as efficient. It's much better used as a pocket rocket in an E1e with an IMR16340 instead of an E2e with a P17670.
