I had my mind made up for a Malkoff M61LL with a MD2 body for a general purpose long lasting light . . .
BUT while spending hours reading this forum (can't help myself – too much good info), I ran across the Jet III-m, which seems like a cool light as well. I started thinking about the pros/cons :
Jet III-m is cheaper ($85 vs $120), Brighter 355 vs 100 (granted I have a Z2 with a M60 and am not needing a brighter light – but I can set the Jet III-m custom setting to 100 and have both), plus with the IIIm you can set it at whatever level you want plus all the strobe settings.
So what is better about a Malkoff M61LL with a MD2? Probably build quality, but anything else? I'm not trying to be a Malkoff hater, I absolutely love my M60!!
I know that they are kinda apples to oranges, but I just figure I'm probably missing something here and you guys all know way more than I do.
Thanks!!!
