Any fond Prom Stories?

I was looking through the School Lunch thread and it has brought back many fond school memories. High School was awesome, made many friends that I still talk to today. Thinking of high school got me thinking of Senior Prom, Graduation and all that stuff. So I was wondering if anyone has a awesome Prom story they want to share? I've always liked the idea of a Prom that's customary in the US. All we got at the end of our exams was a Disco evening that we ( the students ) literally had to beg for.
