Any interest in a Midwestern (Ohio) get-together?

I am outside of Cleveland, and would like to meet some of my fellow lunatics. But I can't drive to Florida or NJ to do it! Anyone else more or less local, say within two hours or so of Cleveland Ohio?

Would we need a catchy name for the assemblage?

I think BrightGuy had a get-together at the store a while back. I couldn't make it at the time because I was (perpetually) out of town of business. I think there may have been an informal meet at Hamvention once as well.

I'd be up for a midwest get together.

OK folks, let's set a date and place. I'm more or less open on weekends except the 20th October. Someplace dark would be good! Shouldn't be a problem in Ohio as long as we stay out of the city. Lots of cornfields around here. Suggestions?

There are a couple of us in the Cincy area, and one or two in Dayton. Have fun!

If we wanted to hold the meet in central Ohio my father has a 14 acre field way out in the country that has no other lighting around that we could probably use. The property is approximately 600 yards in length with trees surrounding much of the perimeter, it would be great for throw contests.

I helped organize the previous Ohio gathering at Brightguy. I'm certainly up for another one! I've got a couple of ideas... I'll PM you about them.

Brightguy is 5 minutes from home - I'm up for that, especially if they come out to play! And it's dark there at night. Fairly anyway.

There is no exact address since it is an empty field and no-one lives on the property, but the Zip code is 43044, that should get you pretty close.
