Any market for a custom modular light?

I am thinking of designing a torch light that will be similar to the mini mag AA in construction except that it will have different configurations for different size batteries, prolly a screw on compartment for circuits, different head assy for different reflectors. Anyone think that this idea is feasible?

The idea is that if we use a piece of plastic or epoxy like the mini mag AA, we can use many differnt type of bulbs without changing the entire torch. So when new lamp assy or bi-pin or PR type bulb comes out, just go to your local hardware shop, get some epoxy, cut some copper foil, ta dah!
