Any problems using a US charger with an adaptor here in the UK?

The rating plate of the charger says "INPUT: 100-240V - 50-60Hz" so your proposed arrangement is fine.
Thanks. Is there some kind of "add reputation" function on here, because some people have been really generous with advice recently.

Actually, there is perhaps a better option for you than using a US/UK plug adapter. The power cord used by that charger is of the standard "figure 8" type. A replacement cord already fitted with a UK plug is widely and cheaply available from many sources. Here's one example, but you could find one almost anywhere: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0002AFRL0/

It would be safer for you to buy such a replacement cable for use with your charger.

I just plugged it into a 3 pin shaver adapter from Tesco, works fine!!
