I have renewed interest in going either C or D cell for some emergency use items in the home, car, or bicycle bags but I only have a Maha C-9000 charger and no money to buy a new charger. Money is tight now (liek it always is) and have heard before that there was a way to charge C/D cells in the C-900 with an adaptor. No one explained how to build such an adaptor back then or had URL's to adaptor products to charge such cells.

Can anyone that has charged C/D's in the C-9000 or any other AA/AAA charger help me out? How did you charge your C/D's? Pics would help me out here as I learn visually.

Thanks in advance.

you could use battery converters that are pretty much a C or D shell that allows you to insert AA batteries in it for use. Google the term "C battery adapter" and you'll get good results. But the setback is, you have limited capacity compared to the full size C or D cells, but you can use AA in case of emergencies. So in that case, pick up more AA's :)

No no, you misunderstood me. I mean I -WANT- to charge C/D cells using the C-9000 charger.
