I have yet to see a flashlight that takes a rebel 100 and a 18650. Does anyone know of one? Or where to get a rebel 100 to mod an existing light with?

Why are the new rebels so hard to get a hold of?

Lumapower M1 has a rebel option. I think you can still buy the rebel pill and reflectors at Batteryjunction.
I like mine however the rebel emitter is off center so while its fine with the OP reflector the spot on the smooth reflector isn't the prettiest I've seen.
I'm sure there are DX rebel lights that will accept an 18650 but I can't say for sure. Ultrafire perhaps?
All I can think of at the moment. Good 18650 lights are still rather hard to find imho.
You could get one of the CPF lights that Witts ENd sells on the Marketplace and replace the old luxeon star with a rebel star but I'm not sure how well the reflector will work with a rebel. There may be other 18650 lights that have an easily accessible star.

Go to DX and Buy a MTE 20 mode Rebel 100, around 23 bucks, and pull out the emitter  there ya go

Or post a WTB on the CPF Marketplace, I'm sure there still some out there

Id rather not spend 23 dollars for the emitter. Also, it seems like a waste to cannibalize a perfectly good flashlight.

I've seen a general shortage of Rebel 100s right after that recall. Maybe Lumileds can't come up with a reliable way of making them work?
